Nortel BCN dual eth card with underflow/overflow errors

Hi,
I have a BCN running 15.5.1.1. Its dual 100 ethernet card has both interfaces connected & racking up underflow & overflow errors. The card has 32Mb mem with 77% free on a fre2-60. The fre & intf. modules have been replaced a few times by Nortel, (that's their only idea) but these errors persist. Any ideas?

When I used BCN's with Dual 100 nic cards, only 1 port could be forced to 100 full. The other port had to be 100 half. I would look at your autonegiotiate is set to. You may need to force it to 100/half. From what I remember they do not autonegiotiate well with other devices.



My suggestions are what I would try myself. If incorrect, I welcome corrections to my knowledge.
