There are 6 flashing lights on the front

THE LEDS ON THE FRONT ARE AS BELOW

TEMP = SOLID GREEN
FANS = SOLID GREEN

ANY SUGGESTIONS MUCH APPRECIATED

THANKS

Probably cant get into voice mail from a phone either? Could be a hard drive going bad. Sometimes you can cycle the power and get it back up.

Hi I don't think they use voicemail they have 48 digital ports and a pri circuit all work fine just can't access switch at all , how could I test to see if I can
Access voicemail?

feature 981, should prompt you to log in, it will probably say inactive feature for you. When the status LED is blinking, it means services aren't up, so things like IP and voice mail don't work. The telephony programing that makes the sets and PRI work reside on the MSC card, and will work even if the hard drive is bad.

Thanks will try and see what happens , if we need to change the drive is this a major job and will this effect the programming of ddi,s extn or is that held on the msc card thanks

Ideally you should have a backup. I'm not 100% sure what happens to the programing on the MSC card when you put a new drive in, I know the drive does an upload to the MSC card when it is replaced, I think it will wipe out the programing, but not sure.
What software version are you running?
I would try to cycle the power after hours, or some time when you can take it down. Ive had plenty of them crash, then come back up after a power cycle. If it comes up you could get a good backup in anticipation of needing it soon.

Hi if i power the switch off and back on is there a way of taken a backup/download of the config via the web interface assuming it fires back into life ?, its a new site that have just taken on so have no copy of config etc

yes, depending on what sw version will be different ways to do it. If its 4.0 that will be easier that 3.7, or 3.6. Backup can be done with any version though.
