Hi,
I was wondering how the configuration files on the Nortel 8600`s work. Understand with Cisco we have a running configuration which is the live config, and a start up configuration which is our last saved configuration, but how does this work on Nortel 8600.
We have some 8600 running some old code which have fallen over during configuration file saves, so at the moment im not able to save the configuration files but need to get a copy of the live config off. I can quite easily perform a copy config.cfg x.x.x.x:8600config however thats the last saved config, how do I copy off the current Live config? Ive tried copy config x.x.x.x:8600config and this does not work.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
