Nortel 7410

Does anyone know how to program a handset to the T7410? Trying to replace defective. It scans but no cigar! Help Please! Thanks

Try going into F***M7410
Look for Base Station status, if it shows "?" then the power supply maybe weak (or dead) therefore needs replacing.

If it's stuck on Auto Scanning then try choosing a channel.

If you have an issue with just the handset or the base station then you can swap one with the other:

Unplug power and digital signal
Power off any non required handsets or base stations
Put required handset in the cradle of the required base station
Plug digital signal back in
Plus power back in
Wait for them to sync up.

You are best to stay away from M7410 as they were hated back then for all their issues.

Best to use an ATA and an analog cordless phone.
The T406 and T7406e's have their issues too.

I suggest Engenuis for distance and ruggedness if needed.

Thanks for the response! Your right they are junk. Just trying to help customer get new handset programed! No install info on internet!
