Nortel 5520 to Cisco WLC 4404 using LACP

I'm trying to configure a nortel 5520 using LACP (802.3ad) to connect to a Cisco WLC 4404. I am working with another vendor who is configuring the 4404. What he is telling me is that the 4404 only supports LAG but not full LACP. Any suggestions on a good way to get this up. Should I use MLT and etherchannels or is there something else we should be trying?

I have 3 separate WLC to connect to 3 different 5520's. The first is using 2 LACP ports, the rest will be aggregating 4 ports.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
