When ever we connect a Nortel switch to a cisco switch, the port on the cisco switch get disabled with an error about trunk information seen on a non-trunk port. it we enable bdpu on the cisco the connection comes back up. that is fine for switches I control. I now need to connect to another switch that i do not control. Is there some setting on the Nortel switch I can use to keep the cisco from disabling the port? The nortel port is already set to be an access port, not a trunk port.
