Nortel 3X8 Noisy Lines

Hello phone gurus, I need your input !!

I have several Nortel 308 with green label.
I took them out, after had in storage for about 2 years,
and lines are making noise and ringing back.
I opened the ksu and I see oxidation and like acid liquid that
I have no idea where is coming from.
Can this be fixed ??
Any suggestions welcome.

Sounds like all resistors and capacitors exploded.....was it outside in freezing temps?.
Not much you can do but send it to an electronics repair center.

no blown resistors.
no blown capacitors.
Maybe the capacitors licked.
It was in temperature control room.
I am the electronics repair center !!!

Simple answer is yes it can normaly be cleaned and repaired but you can get those so cheap now that unless you just want something to do and you have to have them then replace them with refurb cabinets.

sorry I was thinking 6x16 your right the 3x8 are closer to $500.
