Hi all, does anyone know what the key name is for feature that allows you to drop conference calls? Also has anyone programmed a key on a 3904 which allows the user to press a key that sends the call to V/M if they don't want to answer it. For example if they are having a meeting in their office and the phone rings they would like to press a key and send it to V/M.

Thanks

KEY CSD

In the books would ya figure its under "S" for "Selective". rather than "C" for conference.

Not tried on a 3904, but I have a No Hold Confer on "key 2 NHC"

As for sending a call straight to voice mail, no, to my knowledge Nortel does not have a one-button option for sending a ringing call to VM. (Why does Avaya do stuff like this so much better than Nortel?)

The workaround is for the user to press a non-ringing line, then goodbye. It's two buttons, and it doesn't send the call, but it does silence the ring, which is the main point if he doesn't want to be disturbed while having a meeting in his office.

you can use the forward key to forward all calls to voice mail, in this case the phone will not ring at all
and all calls will go to voice mail
key x cfw 4 yyyy
4 if you have 4 digit dn
x is the key number

serge9
yyyy is the voice mail dn
