Nortel 1230 Phones

Hi all

Probably a simple one, but do you configure a 1230 as an 1130 on Rls 5? I've done this, but the phone doesn't seem to pick anything up after I enter the usual IP info - partial DHCP, S1 address and VLAN number - it just doesn't get to the point where I enter the TN??

Help appreciated!

You need minimum CS 1000 5.5 to support IP Phone 1210/1220/1230.

Well that would explain it then! Thanks very much and I'll get on to our vendor and thank them too. They gave us one phone to try out ahead of placing a big order as we're going to migrate a TDM site over to VoIP next year. Thanks again!
