Norstor CICS T7316 Light keeps blinking

I have restored a Flash VM and set up the greetings and 2 of the 4 users have set up their voicemail so far. Currently I have one problem with the system that I had 3 years ago and I am not sure how it was solved then.

3 years ago the business had 8 7310 phones and I changed one 7310 to a 7316 (non e). Sometime after leaving then the 7316's red light started to blink and would not stop for anything unless you pulled the plug on the system. The phone would later start blinking again. A new pair was pulled to the set and the AA was disabled at the owner's request and I believed then one of the two solved the problem until now. Since then the business now has 3 phones that have been replaced to the 7316 and when restoring the Flash I was ask to turn back on the AA for now. After the flash was setup and I made my first test call everything seemed to work fine until I noticed the 3 7316 phones all have the red lights flashing. There is not indication on the screen of any Messages.

Do you believe it is something with the Flash itself or the phone system?

4 Port flash is on port 235 and 236
Flash Version 2.0.10Phone
System CICS 4.1 with 2 line cards
 
Flashtalk should have nothing to do with it.
Maybe think about upgrading the system to at least 6.1....thats what the T series was intended for to have all its feature work properly.

Double check that F65 states no message.
Try an e series T set.....if that made sense (T7316e).

Hi, I had a CCR tree set up path 1 would transfer to ext 201 which was HG01 (Sales). I found that only the sets in the Hunt Group would blink after the voice mail of the Hunt Group would answer. I fixed the problem by having a set in the Tech room to be the Sales Phone and other phones in the business to have an Answer DN for that phone instead of a Hunt Group. This has fixed my problem. I will look into upgrading the CICS. Thanks for your help.
 
BTW I did try a 7316e with the same outcome.
 
It's possible that it is External Message waiting
on one of the lines from external Mail like Call Notes etc.
 
Nah, I dont have that enabled. Its not on the lines and it only does it when ringing from a Hunt Group that is answered by voicemail.

I've seen this before when the port has taken a lightning strike.
