What is the best Norstar voice mail (NAM, startalk, startalk flash, call pilot) for a norstar 8x24 DS with DR5?

Any help would be great.

Depends on the features you want. Startalk Flash maxes out at 4 ports, 48 mailboxes and 180 minutes storage. The Startalk has all the basic features, but the downside is it's bulky. The NAM would give you call record, external transfer from a mailbox, up to 1000 mailboxes and around 100 hours storage time. The CallPilot isn't compatible with DR5.

For an 8x24, if you go with a NAM, you'll either have to install it with a copper converter, or get a copper NAM off the grey market.

With the NAM what is the difference between R2.1, R3.0, R4.0, and R4.1 . Also where could i fond a copper converter.

R2.1, R3.0, R4.0, and R4.1 are software versions.
Convertors can be found on the net or a vendor in your city but why not just buy a copper NAM.

What is it you are trying to do exactly?
