Norstar T7406E phone goes to sleep

I recently installed a T7406e for a customer. The phone goes into sleep mode after 1 minute of idle time. The only way the customer has been able to get the phone out of sleep mode is to call it from another phone. Any ideas?

Going to sleep is normal. it should wake up when press a key.

is there a way to de-activate the sleep mode or adjust the timer to enter sleep mode ?

From memory no on both counts. It's for battery conservation. Those phone use a lot of juice.
