Have a MICS 3.0 system with M series sets
4 sets start flashing on their own a couple times a day. This have heen going on for a while with 1 set, but now it is 4
1 is a M7324 with cap reception set, 1 is a M7208 and 2 are M7310 sets
I have checked wiring swapped sets change cable pairs on a couple of sets and it is still happening.
I have changed ports on the system and the same thing happens
I replaced the KSU a couple years ago and the software, and still the same
Some time the customer is on a call and gets cut off.

Any other ideas I have not tried?

Sounds like the only thing left now is to replace the jack at the wall. I know sounds stupid but i had the same thing go on for a month the only thing that was left was the Jack.

I replaced the wire connection and jack insert when this started a while back on the first set and it still happens.
I have wiggled the line cords to see if the sets starts flashing and they don't.
I cannot seem to make this happen myself

So you think it is a line card?
This system has a 2 port expansion with a trunk module and station module
I have 2 LS/DS in the main unit, and 1 LS/DS in the trunk module
All of the sets that have the problem are on the core unit ports 101, 105, 107, and 108

Its morning, thought I read CICS.
I had similar issue and line card was at fault.....was LSDS too come to think of it, card ending with E or F maybe.

Tough one.

Maybe move those sets to other ports, if same issue with same exts then a system startup up is in order to clear any glitches in the system.

I already tried moving one set to a different port and the same problem happens
I have reset the system before
I have replaced the main cabinet and software a couple of years ago when only one set was acting up now four sets act up

you said you moved the phone and had the same issue. maybe it's a phone problem and not a port problem. If you don't have an extra phone see if you can swap it with one that works for a day or 2 and see what happens.

I have swapped sets in a couple of locations and the problem still happens
