Norstar Restart??

I put a post up earlier explaining how i dont have a admin password for a norstar 8 X 24 that I'm trying to get running. I read the FAQ article about removing the cartridge from the KSU. If I do this, does it wipe out ALL programing. As in I have to start from square one? If so is there anywhere I can get instruction for reprogramming?

Yes- if you reset the password that way, that will wipe out all the programming.

As far as instructions for re-programming: You can get the manuals by searching google. But, if you have never programmed a Norstar, depending on what your role is with this particular system, it will probably be more cost effective to just hire a vendor to program the system, and train you in how to administer it.
