Hi have another question when you recieve a call from the switchboard and get caller id ,but if you are busy with on a call and a second call is transfering you only get a line number ie 023 instead of name display is thier a reason for this they do have two intercoms??

to my knowledge I'm thinking that if a call is transfered to you from the recept. then the CLID should follow, is this on every transfered call where your not seeing it or just on certain ones...

Does the clid display when you pick up the second call? Also, though it may seem obvious, define "switchboard". Are you talking about the receptionist's phone, or an Automated Attendant?

Is the called ID set to yes under telco in set prigraming.
Plus the older S/W will not do that. What version do you have?

I am pretty sure with PRI you need to have 2 appearances if the target line is set to Appear and Ring.
If it is set to Ring Only then 2nd call will not work right regardless of amount of Intercoms.

Hi yes I mean the switchboard ie;receptionist ,the caller is on a call has two intercoms yes the display is there once he answers, but just the trunk number when looking at the display before picking up the call.the line is a did the pilot number multiples of 6 on three sets all are set to appear and ring .I hope I covered all the quiries .Can one use a feature 811 button ???

I'm pretty sure f811 will show the call info for the call you're on, not the second one ringing in. I could be wrong, so it's worth a shot.
