NOOB question...

My boss, the IT Director, moved her office and phone over the weekend and now she has no dial tone in her new office. Yes, the crosswire has been moved. The jack in her office works, because there was another person in there up until about 2 months ago. The phone works on other extensions, too.

I do have the system password, but the only way I know how to access the system is by using F98X. Is there special software that I should/could use to access the system using a serial connection to access the system? Suggestions?

Thanks!

Bruce

You need to turn set relocation ON before moving phones around.
F98X, what is X? F98 series is voice mail not phone system.

You need to know the phone system password, how to navigate programming and where to go.

If I recall it's techs side of progrmming and not admin.

Thanks curlcord for the reply.

The F98X was meant to mean exactly what you stated, voicemail. Sorry for the confusion.

When I plug the phone in, it does not initialize. When the extesnion is dialed, I get silence for about 5 seconds, then get a fast busy.
