Norstar Plus Compact ICS , how do I block outgoing calls on 3 out of 4 lines? 2

I have Norstar Plus Cics, tried accessing admin pw this am, via admin - admin, nothing happened? was able to access config-config ? After some searching here, I think it has to be config than admin (haven't been back to site to try yet)

however I'm looking for some straight forward instructions on programming first 3 of my 4 phone lines with an out-going block?
line filter or line restriction? whatever is easist... My phone company plan has unlimited calling on my 4th line and per use charges on the other 3, this is why I want to do this...
any all help appreciated

You set up a restriction filter and then apply it to the lines you want to block

typical filter will be
1 any any any
with overrides for 1800, 1877, 1866, 1888, 1855

Also don't forget to include *67 and *73 as these can be used to bypass restrictions.

thanks, for reply, but could you give me more specifics? do I have to go under terminals & sets ? or is there any easier way?

Step by step instruction is not part of this forums mandate. Information provided here is WHAT to do, not HOW to do it.

You'll find restriction programming in the headings of terminals and set or lines.

Step-by-step instructions can be found in the Compact ICS Installer Guide. You can get a PDF copy online.

Then, as Marv explained, there are two things to do:

First, set up a restriction filter. It is under Terminals & Sets > Restrictions > Restriction Filters or under Lines > Restrictions > Restriction Filters. For example, you would set up Restriction Filter 01.

Second, apply the restriction filters to the lines. It is under Lines > Restrictions > Line Restrictions. For example, you would apply Restriction Filter 01 to lines 1, 2 and 3 so long distance calls are blocked on these lines. Then, you would apply Restriction Filter 00 on line 4 so long distance calls can be made on this line.
