Norstar Meridian Compact 6-16

Hi, i have just moved a friend's Meridian from there old offices to new offices. There are 5 in/out lines all new numbers, is there any way to program the numbers to call another line if one is busy??? All help greatfully appreciated.

You have to contact your Tel. Co. because this feature is only programable in CO. (Central Office).

You need to have the phone company set your lines up in a hunt.

P.S. this is the PBX forum, you need to use the Norstar forum to get good answers for Norstar.

Thanks for the replies guys, so basically I need to ask BT who supply the lines that they need to be in a hunt group???

Ps I was meant to head the post as (Nortel Meridian) Sorry for any confusion.

The heading's in the menu are confusing.

Nortel: Meridian systems (it should have been PBX's)

Nortel: Norstar systems (it say's Meridian on the Norstar)


Meridien systems covers all Nortel phone systems.
