Norstar Key programing

I am looking for assistance with routing calls on a Norstar key system. I have calls coming in to an auto attendant on the call pilot then when an option is chosen in CCR the call is routed to the appropriate extension, if no answer after 4 rings the call is routed to the voice mailbox for that extension. What I need the ability to do is to have that call ring 4 times on several phones simultaneously before being routed to the voice mailbox. To this point I cannot make this work, any suggestions? thanks

You can use an Answer DN on the other phones you want to ring.Enter the phone that rings DN in each set. It's in the sets programing. ANSWER DN.

Watch out with answer dns as you could have trouble getting the call to drop to the correct mailbox if all sets have individual voice mailboxes. You should also have a look at maybe trying to add these sets to a huntgroup & pointing your CCR Tree to call the hunt group Extention number.

If the rings are set to the same amount on all sets for no answer it will go back to the phone the line is assigned or CCR is directed to.

thanks for the help this did work however, I am trying to do the same thing with an ATA extension, I have set the ATA to ring with the DNS of another phone but it does not work, any suggestions as to what me be wrong? thanks

Answer Dn's don't work on analog device. You will have to do it the other way around. Answer DN of the analog DN on the digital phone.
