Norstar IP Gateway password 2

Customer screwed up password for Norstar IP Gateway.
Anyone know how to default password?

i dont know how to reset the password ...

You were right!

Note: If you have forgotten the web interface password, you can reset the password by changing the ResetWebPassword parameter in the INI file.
For information about changing the INI file, refer to "Configuring the VoIP Gateway using the INI file" on page 85.

Only problem is that if you want to "configure the VOIP gateway using the ini file" you need to know the password. Or am I RTFM wrong?

So I have a gateway that was used and the pass was changed. In the docs as Aragon stated you can reset the pass by editing the INI file, but you need the pass to get the file from the machine??!! Gotta love Nortel. Before I open a case with them has anyone found the way to do this?

Resolved....you must use the BootP program that is on the disk to edit and reload the ini file.
