Norstar Flash Voicemail...How To Setup

I am an office manager for a consulting company. Our old office manager left, and I need to know how to program our voicemail system. MANY things have changed requiring a complete reprogramming. Can someone give me a detailed guide explaining everything, including how to hook up a PC to the system.

I have never programmed a voicemail system, so the more detailed the better.

The password for feature 983 is 266344 but it is asking for a key.

Was your previous office manager the vindictive type? Did (s)he leave under less-than-ideal circumstances?

My point exactly. I spent the time to demonstrate that some things are not easy or practical to DIY. I've been programming Nortel for 3+ yrs. and still need to call in the experts (and/or post questions here) to find certain answers.

After entering F983 PSWD 266344
when you see SN the key choose next. It should give you the option to move on. The reason that you have to enter a password on F983 is that all memory on the Flash has been lost. Question please resond back.

Hire a qualified tech.... you're in way over your head

They are right, you need a trained tech. When F983 gives you password instead of log, it has been wiped clean by a power glitch. Get a UPS for that sucker before you waste too much time programming it. If a similar spike hits before you do, it will be square one again!

You VM will need to be built from scratch, which a trained tech can do in an hour. It would take too long for you to figure it out.
