Norstar FLASH 2.0.10 won't boot

Having a challenge with this vmail, boot screen on laptop indicates the following:

NVRam Test: Passed
B84 Test: Passed
Program ROM: Passed
Voice Prompt ROM: Failed. Alarm Code: 01F

Base Alarm 01F: Corrupt voice Prompt ROM. Halt

Then repeats same test. I removed the battery (capacitor) and tried restarting with and without PCMCIA Card in, any other suggestions?

The software card is corrupt. Try another one.

Sounds like you have a bad flash card .....

The card can be re-flashed or you can find a replacement on eBay.

Fixed by putting a new copy of the software on it.
