Anyone installed a FEM on either a 400 or 450? We just installed a FEM connected to 6 Norstar Digital SM's on a 450 and had very strange wiring issues coming off each of the telco cables from each of the SM's. Ports were flipped in groups of 4

1001/1005, 1002/1006, 1003/1007, 1004/1008, 1009/1013, 1010/1014, 1011/1015, 1012/1016

each of these pairs were flip flopped. This was the same for each Norstar mod.

We also had 3 DSM32's in the 450 and no problems on any of these.

Is the FEM installed in main chassis ro expansion chassis?
From the Delta course, it stated the FEM must be in the main chassis

NCSS, NCDS, NCTS

This has always been the case when using Fem for norstar modules.
its as you have stated every other four extns are flipped.

Wish i would have found some docs on that, although, honestly, I didn't look to close either. Thought it was pretty cut and dry.
