I have been a long time lurker of these forums but never an official user, so here I am!
One of my norstar systems has lost all programming and I am in the middle of reprogramming it (internal capacitor and external UPS both failed)!
Here is the problem I am facing. A lot of extension seem to have "changed" dnb's... like extension 275 is now 276... Why is that?
Is there a sequence I have to startup the system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

changed dnb's"
Actually they are called DN's (Directory Number)

When Set Relocation is turned on and you move phones around then of course the DN is no longer on the same default port as it was so if you lose programming then obviously it will take on the default DN of the port it is now on.

Thanks for your reply!
I've never changed a DN's port on a Norstar... any insight on how to do this?
I don't remember ever enabling Set Relocation (must be on by default I guess). I usually re-bix the physical connexion of the extension when I move a phone.

It is one of the first 2 options under 'System Programming"

You could also get the current port number (F*0/Intercom/View) and then move the cross connects from those ports back to original ports.

Ok, I'll have a look at those options.
Thanks again!
