I get a "denied in admin" message on my call park buttons. Do I need to add a range of numbers for the call park prefix under -access codes-?

Help... I just want to get Call park functioning..

thanks

it should be set up by default. are you using Feature 74 on that button or 75? 75 is pickup, which will give you the error if you don't have the phone assigned to a pickup group.

I'm programming the phones for F74. I did look in the access codes and noticed a "Park prefix:none".. could this be why?

without a prefix, the system has no idea where to park your call

sorry to be so ignorant, but how do I determine a prefix to add? in addition, if i add a prefix does this affect any other part of the system? would i be ok to add this? i just don't want to void our support warranty with our vendor.. the problem is they're not very responsive... which will change very soon..

thanks for all the help.

pick one...system will only let you save a valid unused single digit

so, if anyone could please entertain me, i have a couple QUICK (hopefully) questions about call park.

1. what type of prefix is it looking for in the access code section? 800 - 810?

2. once i add this will i be able to park calls?

3. if i do add the prefix to the access code area, will it affect any other part of the system? i guess is it safe to add without the vendor being here?

thanks

Yes. If the single digit you select (default is 1) conflicts with any other digit in use, the system won't let you enter it.
