I have an outgoing "phantom message" that I can't get rid of. When people call in after hours, they get my regular recording; however, it is immediately followed by an old holiday message. This holiday message can't be found anywhere in my greeting tables, yet it continues to play. My service rep says the only solution is to start from scratch and reprogram everything, a daunting proposition with 100 employees!

What do you hear when you play the message manually? If you hear the "regular" followed by the holiday like the after hours callers I would say that the regular recording was recorded over the holiday message without deleting. This actually is more common than you might think. Dial the DN for the message and listen. If you hear the same thing, erase completely and then re-record. Easier to check that first than blowing out everything.

Check the AA menu prompt under AA>Tables.. If it is set to "N', then something has been recorded. Select change and listen to see if that is what you are hearing.
