Hope this hasn't been covered somewhere else, I looked but didn't find what I needed.

I am looking for a list of numbers that are assigned by default in a Norstar MICS 7.1.

Reason: I have assigned a destination code of "1A" (1.>) to PRI-Pool-A. When I view the destination code in programming I see 10:asssigned, 11:asssigned, 12: unavailable, 13:asssigned, 14:asssigned, 15:asssigned, 16:asssigned, 17:asssigned, 18:asssigned, 19:asssigned.

Notice the 12: is unavailable. I need to free this number up, but can't find where it is used in the system. When dialing "12" the phone responds with "Invalid Number"

Customer wants to not dial 9 to get outside line, just 1+ number. This currently works for all digit combinations, except those that start with 12. ie. 1(214)555-1212

A full list would be helpful, but I REALLY need to find the "12".

Thanks in advance.

Steve

I don't mind coming to work, but that eight hour wait to go home is a bitch.

Not aware of one, you need to look at the programming.

Off hand
1 for Park
2 for Station DN's
4 CICS for Hunt Groups
7 MICS for Hunt Groups
9 for External

Check your dialing Plan maybe.

Check your ACOD's and DISA settings in case "12" is used. It's really a case of going though all the programming. If you are able to access the Norstar using NRU and the browser feature, then perhaps you will have a better chance of finding where "12" is being used.

I found the issue.

It was a REC'D # that was programmed on a Target Line.

Thanks to those that responded, as always its great to be part of this community.
