Sorry ididnt told the u what i did.I went to cap asiment and there the system didnt let me to put the nump of the ext tha has the kim conect to it.I went back and i took a 7324 whith cap and sap i conect it it was working ok.then i remove it again i conect back the 7316e whith the kim no responce at all from the kim the tel was working ok in the programing it was showing that the specif.ext has a cap on it put it was working.so then i took it to lap there i vgot a cics 6.1 the same thing.then i took it to our ofice we got there a BCM the same thing.I went and get 2 new 7316e new kims do the same thing as before ,the tel set was working ok but the kims nothing
You must assign this in system programming go to CAP/KIM assignment. If it isn't letting you, you probably are not running the correct software. Are you sure you have the 6.1 software, because I just did a move and the sales rep sold new phones to the customer's existing system and the KIMs did not work at the receptionist. I had to use their old 7324 and KLM.
