Norstar 3X8 ksu Dr5.1 Voicemail

Is there anyway possible that a norstar 3x8 can have F981 voicemail without a flash or call pilot?

Nope. F981 is a feature on the Flash or Call Pilot.

Thats what I thought but customer says he always pressed a button and went to voicemail but I don't see one on site.Lost his power supply and he claims it was working before the power went out in the hurricane.I think he may be confused and has carrier provided voicemail.

I have seen a voice mail in a different room a couple times....last one was under a desk on the floor plugged into a spare telephone jack.

Finally called me back because he found out it was co based phone mail, LOL

I just had the same problem, voicemail button de-programmed. Customer swears they pressed that to get into voicemail. It was a speed dial to the phone company.
