I need to backup data on server A and then Restore it to server B on a different site on a nightly basis, it is important customer data and they want it copying, I was thinking if We can get a scheduled job we can remove the need to do a manual copy,
can anyone advise in the usage of command line tools as tapetest as I want to batch file this and the help isnt best useful. Or any other ways to achieve the goal

what is it they say about reading it back .....

we are running ASO V7 along with Tape Libraries.

To me, A simple dos script on a scheduler to do a nightly xcopy sounds much simplier.

arcbatch can be used to do command line jobs.
Why not just use an ARCserve Copy job?

copy job - just the job, however in order to copy I'm having to turn off disk quota's as it gives disk full errors ( when it clearly i'snt anywhere near), even though my backup account is an admin and admins have no limits.

Any suggestions ?
