So i've been given a task of looking up some info on our phone system. I'm a programmer and database admin, not a phone expert, so I have no clue what any of this really means. You'll have to keep this in mind
So basically, right now, we have a Voicemail Release 3.0 Partner Plus setup. It has 10 voicemail boxes and 18 extensions. We just bought a Voicemail Release 5.0 Partner Plus 2.0 setup. This one is capable of 48 voicemail boxes and again 18 extensions.
What my company wants to know, is it possible to interconnect the systems in such a way that we get those 48 voicemail boxes from the new setup, but also combine the two setups to get a total of 36 extensions. In other words, in terms of the old box, we're only interested in the extensions it has, and not the voicemail capability of it. Is this at all possible?
I can try to get any other information/serial numbers/etc for you if I left some information out (and I'm sure I did - see disclaimer above).
Thanks
