I am thinking about purchasing SMS. Can you install non-msi programs with SMS, or do you have to repackage them like Active Directory software installation requires? If so does SMS include a repackager and what is involved?
SMS can distribute anything you can put together, .exe, .bat, .msi, .cmd, etc., etc.
SMS does include a repackaging utility called SMS Installer, which does a great job at creating packages. It also has a utility built into it that will create .msi's out of standard distributions.
See myITforum.com for more info.
