Hi

I would like to know how to setup Exchange so that all email address (non-existent) are sent to Administrator?

Thanks

SA

In Exchange System Manager,
navigate to Your Exchange server -> protocols -> SMTP -> Default SMTP virtual server
Right click it and go to the Properties page.
Have a look at the Messages tab and configure it as you require.

As Claudek already mentioned:
In Exchange System Manager go to the properties of your SMTP Virtual Server-Messages Tab

There you fill in the catchall account in the "Send Copy of Non-Delivery report to"
Anything not recognised by Exchange will got to the account specified.
And turn of NDR to the internet!

Keep in mind if you are a professional businesses you want NDRs or else peopel are going to think emails went ot the correct addresses.

I am sorry but that is so so wrong, for 3 reasons.

1: Spammers use the NDR technique to determine which addresses are real or not.

2: The account catching the NDR's can check those legite wrong addresses.

3: Businesses should use correct addresses.

To disable NDR and others to the internet:
System Manager - Internet Message Format - Default - properties -Advanced. Un-check all the Allow... fields.
