We currently run around 50 Cisco 7920's in a manufacturing environment. We believe that these phones are not very suitable for our type of factory (very dusty / noisey).

Can you connect any other Wireless VIOP handset into the call manager.

Our access points are Cisco Airnet 1200's.

Any help??

Regards

You might have to look for a wireless phone that those SIP. Another thing to consider is that they are also comparable with the authentication mode you are using in your eviroment.

Stay cool; it’s not over yet!

Have you any experience with the Spectralink stuff Eyeteaguy?

The i640 looks like what we need.

Any experience integrating with callmanger??

Cheers

I was not directly involved with it, but we had so many problems with a Spectralink/CallManager install, we moved it all to Cisco phones. But we were doing Cisco PA and such also. Maybe straight phones would work OK.

The phones would not move from AP to AP without dropping calls. I tried to find more info but this was all I have listed. I didn't work on the problem presonally.

1000 Wireless phone,s will this work or will i see a lot of dogs on the route.

somebody have a site over 500+ Wireless phone,s

I think the designs that I've seen recommend no more than 7-8 wireless phones per AP. Perhaps if you were using 802.11a/g this would be null.
