Is there a way to program auto dials so that the user cannot change them? I have a 3904 with two add on modules. It is just a bunch of ADL so that they can conf/transfer to all the different departments. Sometimes, someone changes them. Or is there a better way to handle this? RLS 7.6

I think you can program the keys as hotlines instead. something like "KEY 31 HOT D 4 2222" so that only extension is called etc.

Since you are using the keys to transfer calls you may want to make them Combined No-Hold Conference keys.
KEY xx CH D 4 2222
Regular hotline keys won't let you transfer calls from another line. They will only leave the original caller on hold and initiate a new call.

One advantage of the No-Hold Conference is that you can skip pressing transfer or conference key.
Disadvantages:
You can't do a transfer.
You can't speak to the destination party privately before adding the caller into the conference.
See Feature Guide "No Hold Conference"

You could also consider BFS keys but that feature has some side-effects that can be annoying.
See Feature Guide "Call Forward and Busy Status

I saw the No Hold Conference. But I did not know if they needed the "private talking" before the transfer. I guess if someone keeps changing the auto dials, then they will get the non-changeable CH keys forced upon them.
Thanks guys
