noisy Nam power supply

i have a very noisy Nam power supply is there a generic Pc power supply i could replace it with, what kinda power rating ? and is it easy to replace for a Newb

it is a differently shaped X86 PC ... a generic power supply may not fit in the cabinet. try and get an equivalent one

It could just be a noisy fan in the power supply. If so this would be a lot cheaper to replace.

Yes. There's some work involved, but still a LOT cheaper than a new power supply.

You're dealing with a product that has been deemed End Of Life by the manufacturer.
Why not upgrade to a CallPilot/Norstar Messaging 150?

My experience has been that businesses are always willing to spend money on IT upgrades, but when it comes to the equipment that is your true lifeline to the world, you want to run it forever.

Telephony technology is rapidly changing.
It's worth the investment to upgrade.
You might even want to take a look at a BCM.

we are about to change all the systems in our organisation next year so this is just standbye 'till we do so....


if i open up the supply and take out the the fan and blow the dirt off with a pressured air u think it work...
