MICS T1 R1 customer reporting a little hum and static when dialing out. Does this sound like the 4 port DS card. Internal calls are clear. I have reported to the Telco and they show clear.

I have had to use compressed air in teh past to clear this problme before. have reset the system.

Use a butt set on the isolated demarc to troubleshoot.

I did do that before I left and al sounds clear. The other strange thing is that they are having trouble with their faxes getting cut off but from only certain locations like their Chicago office which uses a fax server.

This client is using standard fax machines in each office with seperate telephone numbers. Embarq came out and verified that the lines are clean. The fax lines of course are not connected to the MICS.

I am going to change the DS just to make sure all is well.
