I have a LDK100 with 14 lines and one of them has developed an annoying buzz.

BT have tested the line and say its ok.

I have powered off the unit twice and the problem still occurs.

Any suggestions please?

Check that your grounding / earthing of this system is done correctly.
Are your CO lines - ISDN or analogue?

Hi

the lines are co lines.

Further update is telecoms company came out and swapped the pair for the line with another and I tried it. The same noise was there and he said that proved the ports were fine and the line was faulty.

Had the line retested whilst using it and still no fault so on a hunch I asked BT to call me on another line and test whilst line clear and there was a fault. An engineer came out very quickly and could not find fault on pair so left it disconnected from system with just his test handset on it, no fault. Reconnected to system and tried test again and fault appeared again. He suggested that it is internal wiring.

The fault was dis or ndis and I did notice on one call I made after hanging up the line flashed green, I picked it up again and the BT woman was saying please hang up.

From your description i woud say wiring or port. Try connecting to port 15 and pgm accordingly. Put the card in service mode & pull it out then push back in again and flick switch, the only other thing then is the amphenol wiring.

Hi

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately i don't know how to put the card in service mode. would be happy to try that if you can guide me. Can you indicate of the unit should be powered on or off for the reseating of the card.

Appreciate your help.

Just pull the line card after switching off the LDK system.
No need to put cards in to service mode.
