Noise canceling headsets

I have an Avaya CM with 9611G handsets. We are located at an airport and our office space can get a little loud.
I am looking for a noise canceling headset. Most that i find are noise canceling mics which is helpufl but i need some headsets that are noise canceling looking at the headphone type from Plantronics and jabra but the user still gets a good amount of noise.
Hard to block airport noise but if i can cut it back it would be helpful.
What are others using?

turn off the auto gain for the phone as well as the headset, should help

If you can find them, the Sennheiser HME280i headsets are fantastic for blocking ambient noise. The agents using the look like air traffic controllers but they work great.
The catch is that Sennheiser stopped making them. We found a couple at Radio Shack a while back. And they aren't cheap. They were in the $400 neighborhood.
