No Wireless Connection

I have just connected a newly purchased BEFW11S4 (Wireless-B Linksys Router) to my SpeedStream 5100 ADSL modem through SBC Yahoo!

The PC(#1) that was connected to it still works fine (through the router) but the PC(#2) I am trying to wirelessly connect (through a Linksys Wireless USB adapter) will not get a connection. I can see the SSID of my wireless router, but it doesn't give it any love.

Both PCs are runnning Service Pack 1.
I have no security features enabled.
The IP on the Wireless PC is 192.168.1.102
The IP of the Default Gateway is 192.168.1.1

The SpeedStream 5100 ADSL modem is connected to the "Internet" port on the Linksys Router.

The Wired PC is connected to the router through Port 1.

You need to make sure the SSID on the pc is exactly the same as the router and if you have turned on WEP those settings must match also . The same goes for mac address permissions if you happen to turn that on . You are pulling an address from the router ok unless you hardcoded the address on the wireless pc , if so I would let the router automatically supply the address , make sure your wireless is setup to pull the address from the router .

Thanks for the reply.

The SSID I see is given out by the router, so they must be the same. No security is enabled (no WEP or MAC filtering).
I didn't hardcode the IP address on the wireless PC, so I'm assuming by default that it pulls the address from the router.
