no windows updates available

I just installed windows 2000 on a machine. I went to the windows update pages and it is telling me there are no updates available. Does nanyone have any idea what maybe the problem?

No I connected directly to the internet thru a T1

Try installing Win2k Service pack 3 as automatic updates are added during this install.

Did you accept the 2 ActiveX components from Microsoft when you got to the page? If they didn't even show, make sure you accepting ActiveX components and are logged in as an Administrator...

I am logged in as administrator with service pack 3 installed. I also have IE 6 installed. I accepted the active x controls when I 1st logged into windows update.

Couple of things to try:

1. See if this link works:

https://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

2. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking HTTPS (port 443)

3. Have a language preference selected in IE
