Hello

I have IPO 10.0
I am facing issue with unable to hear voice from callie and call to number.
There is no firewall between server, PoE switch and phone(sip e129 and IP 1608)
If i change IP of that phone all works well.
I tried changing port, reconfig, reboot, device change but non of that work insted of changing IP.
As i change IP all works well.

I have daught with SIP port 5060 which is defined but it changes automaticall for sending so cannot hear voice of party.
As port is defined why and from where it is taking random port for voice for only receving voice and for sending it is taking 5060.
Day by day number of ip address are increasing.
Even some time can hear cross talk of other user talking.

Probably a routing issue
your customer needs to fix their data network

If you change the IP Address of the phone and then it works.... what could possibly be wrong?

Nitrigrant@ yes it works well if i change ip of that phone.
It automatically choses random port which is not defined in server.
For incoming it is taking port 5060 but for outgoing voice it is taking some random port.

speech packets are always routed on different ports to the 5060 Sip control port & these are randomly* chosen from a suitable range

if you are this unfamiliar with the basic technologies involved I suggest you need to employ the services of a competent maintainer

The RTP ports are specified. You should know what they are and have them opened on your network. I have to agree you need to pay someone to help you at this point.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
