thread1361-1662677 - similar to this thread

The phone is connected, it rings, can make out going calls. However, you cannot hear a dial tone or any voice. Recipient cannot hear you.

My BCM 50 Software is 6.0.2.05.237 . I installed a nat traversal license and opened various ports on my router (7000 to 7002) (28000 to 28255) (30000 to 30099).,

I read on another thread (and here about enabling remote worker under global settings, telephony, IP Sets. I do not see this available.

Any thoughts on where to begin?

Best wishes,

Tom

Yes, actually i do.

Wed Dec 11 18:54:42 EST 2013 false 50115 major TERM.(0002, :0002): No public media address available for IP set at 192.168.3.110:51004 systemId=BCM;entityId=bcmm50r3;entitySubId=utps

Any thoughts? Do I need to fwd any ports on the local router to the handset?

Tom

Make sure you put the public IP address in the public IP address Field. this should match the public IP address where you have the ports forwarded at.

DBrewsky - i'm fairly noobish when it comes to this, can you specify for me?

" public IP address in the public IP address Field. this should match the public IP address where you have the ports forwarded at"

Is this on the handset or bcm?
