Hi all,

I have a CS1000E system Release 5.5 with a CallPilot server 5.0. The CallPilot server is configured and it is also programmed on the CS1000E system. When dialing the CallPilot ACD or CDN, the call trace shows that the call reverves one of the CP channel that becomes BUSY and take its position ID. However, no voice is heard from the CallPilot, Eventhough the message: "CallPilot is ready to accept calls" is poped-up and the channels on the CS1000E are all LOGGED IN.

Any idea!!!!

Thanks in advance....

I would start with running config wizard and loading the languages again. Check and be sure ports match cs1000 programming.

Your description above shows that signaling portion of the call is working.

You also need to verify that the speech path is good. On a CallPilot server with an MGate located in an IPMG, or a CallPilot that physically resides in the IPMG, then there must be an available DSP (either on the MGC daughtercard, MC-32, or MC-32s).

Try tracing the phone that has called the CallPilot, and make sure you get a good near-end and far-end IP address, You should also see what codec is used, the payload size, etc.

I would bet that either the language CD needs to be loaded again (as mentioned above), or the cable between your MGate card and your CallPilot is hosed. We've run into both problems in the past.
