No Video happening!!!! weird

Hi All
Heres a head scratcher.
I got a pc that wouldnt display a picture so after examining the AGP Video card I found the fan had seized easy solution replace the card.
so I did.
I put in another AGP in and bingo system beep loaded windows then dropped its bundle no pic Monitor went to standby hmmm must be the AGP slot. installed pci Video card. Same thing!!! Hmmm reboot in safe mode then delete previous AGP. It wont boot into Safe mode just starts to load then dies.
Thats it any ideas???????????????????????

I would guess that the power supply is insufficient.


Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

Hi Grenage
I would be suprised as it ran with that Power Supply for some time however it could have dropped a few amps with age.Ill give it a go thanks for your input.
