I have 4 switches all running R11.03.2.536.1
We are running VAL Manager 1.2.6.

Using VAL Manager I can connect to all but one switch and download the announcements. The odd one it will connect to, but gives me the error "There was an error retrieving the VAL Boards. ss alrarm origination [y]. The next error is No VAL Boards detected. There are 8 boards on this system. Is this a known issue with this verison? Suggestions on how to make these two pieces of software play nicely?

Thanks!

Sorry can't be of help, but I have same problem on one of my remote systems.
R012x.02.0.111.4
val v 1.3.5.u1.1

I'm sure you know this, but VAL manager is dependant on the PBX version. Are you sure about your PBX versions?

Higher versions of VAL work on older versions of PBX. Older versions of VAL don't work on newer versions of PBX.

Make sure SSH is unchecked... if you don't use SSH

Does it work if you manually attempt using DOS FTP?

Thanks,

ss alrarm origination [y]." This shows that you may be using a login with craft level permissions with VAL Manager. Try using a superuser login...
