No user displays on phone

I have a client that I just upgraded to 1.4 2 weeks ago. 3 time since then overnight his phone goes to no user. Forced logon and login code are deselected, so I can't log him in with the default *35 short code. If he resets the phone system it automatically come back correctly. He was at release 1.1 before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the customer using Phone Manager?

nope phone manager is not being used in this application

Is there a possibility they a re dialing *36 or pressing the log off on 20XX handsets.

Maybe set up a monitor trace to see if you ca spot what’s going on.
