[morning]

Yes we use an exchange server. She is also using Outlook 2000 on a Windows 98 machine.

We have had the same problem.
Found a cure, but did not work on all of my workstations.
The error would only appear when we sent email with attachments.
We are using 98 workstations with an exchange server.
Also had a proxy server, and using Outlook 2000.
In network neighborhood, under TCP/IP settings for the card.
I had to give the workstation a unused 90.0.0.X number.
with subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Also setup the dns information.
I left proxy client setup.
There are a few workstations that this trick did not work on. Still troubleshooting that issue out.
I think it might be the brand of network card.
Hope this helps

Thank you so much for the help!! This is great!!!!

Julie,
I found out some more info.
We had to remove our proxy client off of those workstations.
