No Tone on Trunks but internal functions are working OK 2

Hello:

I have a 6x16 DR5 system with (6) Telephones model M7310, the system was stored for about 3 years still with originally mounted patch panel and connections. Now I'm trying to put it back to work and when connecting trunks there is no tone on lines, I made a System Startuo procedure and set a Square template and Public Type Configuration but problem persist. Internally I can use Intercom to call all extensions I connect but I can not hear anithing when select any line(Trks);also when I configure Pulse on TRK 1 or 2 I can hear the system Dialing and the call progress; but I can't hear NO tone on any of the (6) extension connected. Please HELP!!!

Hello to ALL:

No problem with the connection of the handset; problem remains as same. There is no tone on any connected telephone extensions using any trunk. Emergency Ext. works OK when system is withpout power as it should. There is pulse dialing when programed to dial using Pulse on the connected trunk; but can not hear any tone or sound on any connected extension; dialing pulse makes calls OK but Tone dialing did not. Problem persist as same!!!

In short, it's like if the speaker part of the handset on all sets you try to connect to the 6x16 won't give you any sound yet the microphone works. Am-I right ?

Is this a business phone system or your science project? Your phones have been unusable for over 2 weeks now? Call a vendor if you want it to work.

Hello:

MontrealSoft: you are right, but also the system only permit me to dial out if programmed in Pulse, no matter if line is Tone-with tone settings does not work; if trunk is set to Tone can't dial out. There is NO tone sound on any mode programmed (Tone/Pulse). Internal communications between all phones connected Works perfectlly (Intercom); also the tone is present only when using Intercom function. The only thing not working is to dial out on any trunk connected.

bkrike: Yes it was a bussiness used system that after 2 years stucked on my house in a closet, now is having this problems. Now I want to sell it, (actually a client is waiting for me), but I want to make shure it works.

Have verified that tone dialing works on these lines by plugging in a SL phone directly on the line.
