No Task Manager

I can't call up Task Manager. I also now have a pop up that says
Server Busy
This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose Switch To to activiate the busy program and correct the problem.
If I click Switch To, the Start Menu comes up. If I click Retry nothing happens. Cancellation is not an option, and X to close doesn't work.

Reboot did not clear the message, and I still have no Task Manager.

There are some viri/trojans that disable task manager. Get an online virus scan
